BECOME A BETTER

HUSBAND, DAD, AND LEADER.

An Uncommen Believer

So the Holy Spirit has been at work on your heart, and you want to know more about this Jesus. You want to know what all the fuss is about and why you should consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. We hope this content provides information for you to either seek out a person close to you to have a life-changing conversation with or you come to the saving knowledge of Jesus at the end of this page.

Why do I need salvation?

Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23a – “For the wages of sin is death…”

How God provided salvation?

Romans 6:23b – “…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 5:8 – “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

How we can receive salvation?

Romans 10:9-10; 13 – “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation…For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

What are the results of salvation?

Romans 5:1 “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

Romans 8:38-39 “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

How do I accept Jesus as my Savior?

Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for your salvation. The words themselves will not save you. Only faith in Jesus Christ can provide salvation.

“Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and in need of a Savior. I believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus as the perfect sacrifice for my sin. I ask you to forgive me of my sin and come into my life and be the Lord of my life. I ask Lord that you would save me. Thank you Lord, for saving me. Amen.”
