Great video powerful and to the heart. I can only my dad would have wasted more days with me. Me & my father never bonded or spent any quality time together. All he did was work work work so he could get away from us kids
Fred, Thank you for your honest input. I think many of us have similar stories, but you and I have the rare opportunity to learn from our past and invest in our families. My goal is that my sons will never have to have this conversation with someone about their childhood. Stay Uncommen
So true. You can’t plan “quality time”. It happens naturally and sometimes unpredictably as a result of “quantity time.” Being together more frequently doing the little things is far more important than big events a couple times a year.
I have a great father who would always be there to throw balls, walk in the woods and spend a lot of time with me. Now I coach all 3 of my boys teams, leave work early and spend as much time with my boys as possible. I don’t need a boys weekend, because I have one every weekend with 3 amazing blessings from God. Thank you to my dad for setting such a great example!
