Do I find unity in Christ with all believers? I recently read a book about tribalism in America. When I think of tribes, I think of Africa, but this book dealt with a much broader perspective. This book was about any group with a common interest. Folks stick together because they have a common ancestry, heritage, financial status, religious affiliation, social attraction, business interest, or hobby. I belong to several tribes: social community and church, my sports teams (New York Giants and the Chicago Cubs), my alma mater, and my political affiliation.

Click clock…The same as tick-tock… BOOM ! The clock begins and out the gate, not knowing where I have my fate. I look down at the track trying to find The Lane, wanting to avoid any such pain. Moving to greed, but I see these are not freed. Transitioning to malice, I see in this there is no palace. Continuing down the circle changing to anger, but now rest has become my stranger. Heading to lust and all that is there are shadows and dust.
